About the Local Commercial SEM Program

The Local Commercial SEM Program is designed to help businesses implement no-cost energy-saving measures while offering rebate incentives and easily implemented operational improvements. We offer a whole-facility approach that brings together all energy-saving projects implemented. Participants receive up to six years of technical support and guidance on how to achieve maximum energy efficiency.

Program commitments & eligibility:

Services are at no cost to the customer through non-binding agreements.

• Participant agrees to provide “energy driver” data, usage, occupancy, etc.
• Participants can attend and participate in all workshops.
• Participant agrees to sign the SoCal Edison Enrollment Agreement. This is a participant-driven program.
• Participants can get up to six years of technical advice.
• Participants are eligible for rebate incentives.
• Participant will have no penalty for early withdrawal.
